Part-Time Worship Leader
Isle of Hope United Methodist Church in Savannah, Georgia seeks a part-time worship leader to help establish and lead a non-traditional worship service, The Anchor, in our 2700 member church. Successful applicants will possess strong leadership skills and serve Jesus Christ working within Wesleyan/Methodist theology.
Responsibilities include leading all aspects of worship planning for this service, in conjunction with the pastoral staff, and the rehearsals that prepare for this service. The applicant will be comfortable leading worship in a non-traditional style while singing and playing keyboard and /or guitar (keyboard preferred). Further this person is comfortable and experienced with current technology as it relates to worship. This person is an effective bandleader, able to read and arrange music to fit the makeup and abilities of the band. The position involves 20 hours of service.
